I’ve been volunteering with LifeMattersFoundation for over seven years.
I started out by working about 16 -20 hours per week.
Now that I’ve retired, I average probably about 20 hours per week, most of that by working from home due to COVID-19 since March.
The work they do in helping the “poorest of the poor” and disaster victims is incredible.
The leadership, staff, and other volunteers I’ve worked with are very passionate about the Foundation.
I’ve also been a donor for several years.
I like the fact that only a small fraction of their total cash and in-kind donations goes towards overhead and fundraising and that the rest goes into their programs.
So if you are looking to support a great non-profit, either through volunteering or financially, I highly recommend LifeMattersFoundation.
